I just did a nationwide radio interview with nationally-known host, Rudy Maxa. It went very well. In case anyone is interested, I did a nice radio interview with big-name travel writer Rick Steves that is being broadcast on stations nationwide this week. Rick did a great interview, asking great questions, and gave me a full 24 minutes to not only promote our book, but especially to promote the best zoos in the USA. I got to talk about many different zoos.

Nice interview Allen! I liked the discussion about 4 big-name zoos (San Diego, Bronx, Omaha and Woodland Park) and I heard you publicly announce that San Diego and Omaha are your #1 and #2 zoos in America. It was a positive conversation that promoted zoos across the country, including interactive features of zoos, and now you just need to update your website for 2011. All of the new exhibits in 2010 that are posted on your site have already opened.

Wow Allen, you seem to be getting a lot of radio appearances as of late. Its great that the public can see what is going on with zoo trends and a good view of zoos are maintained. BTW Have you built up a lot of zoo contacts because you have traveled so much? Ever hear what the zoo's themselves have to say about your book?
