No, just rare breed farm animals, however we are known for helping to save a rare breed of cow from extinction by bringing the first herd over from Ireland in 1984 There is a college on site, but that has mainly domestic pets and a few reptiles
Yes it was the Irish Moiled. The farm was also part of the first embryo transplant of the I.M breed using dairy cattle. We now have the largest I.M herd in the UK, according to the latest Rare Breeds Visit (23/3/10)
We also have Highlands, an individuals/pairs of : Red Polls, Gloucesters, Longhorn, Shetland, White Park, Dexter.
We are the only Rare Breeds farm in the North West
