Flattered, although this would only be my second time advancing to the final vote. I'll need to think of something wholly original if I want to make an appearance next year.Lintworm, Pachy, and Coelacanth really know how to ensure a spot on the nominations each year, and they are well deserving of it.
As previously mentioned, you can't exactly copy this year's lintworm threadFlattered, although this would only be my second time advancing to the final vote. I'll need to think of something wholly original if I want to make an appearance next year.![]()
Really well-done threads all around this year. Lintworm, Pachy, and Coelacanth really know how to ensure a spot on the nominations each year, and they are well deserving of it. There have been a number of other great threads too, but when limited these are my top three.

If it makes you feel any better, if I could pick my own three nominees your road trip thread would be one of them.ZooChat has been a thoroughly engaging website for the past few years, recapturing much of its momentum from an earlier era. The number of quality threads has increased and there's a whole bunch of excellent ones going into the final vote. It's difficult to guess who will win, but in reality we are all winners with the resources on this site.
I've embarked on 4 'Snowleopard Road Trip' threads in the last 6 summers. My 2018 trip ended up being voted the #3 thread of the year, my 2019 trip was #1 and my 2022 trip was tied #3. This past summer's trip to California, Arizona and Oregon received exactly zero votes, which illustrates the strength and depth of 2023's lineup of top-notch threads. There's a lot of good writing on ZooChat and long may it continue!
I'm so sorry @snowleopard but I also would have nominated your thread if I had noticed it get mentioned in this thread, I forgot all about it, but my three nominations I hate to say, are locked in at this point.ZooChat has been a thoroughly engaging website for the past few years, recapturing much of its momentum from an earlier era.
