Tierpark aachen

Bennett Kangaroo (by which I assume you mean Bennett's Tree Kangaroo) is not listed on ZTL for the current or former holdings of Tierpark Aachen.

Looking at their website the only macropod they claim to hold is the Red-necked Wallaby - which *is* listed on Zootierliste.

"Bennett-kaenguru" would be a reasonable German name for Red-necked Wallaby.

On their website it says something about a Bennets tree kangaroo that's why I was checking it

The same cropped up with Landgoed Hoenderael at Anna Paulowna in the Netherlands, there website listed Bennets tree kangaroo but the hold Bennets wallabies

Bennett's Wallaby is of course an alternative name in English for Red-necked Wallaby.

Red-necked wallby-Macropus rufogriseus banksianus ( from australian mainland)

Benett-Wallaby-Macropus rufogriseus rufogriseus ( from tasmania )

Not the same-two diffrent subspecies.:)

Is that always true? I assume when the subspecies is not known, the names are used interchangeably?

they are all "red-necked wallabies". The name "Bennett's wallaby" is just for the Tasmanian subspecies though. I don't know specifics of the European population but I dare say they would all be Bennett's anyway.

Didn't Copenhagen got some animals from Tasmania last year?
