Yes, that is what some users of Zoofreunde Forum also expect. And as ralph pointed out, they already exist. But I still kind of wonder why they would put up a beam with bird foot prints on them. Of course, it may have been by accident (the pattern doesn't show very strongly and may be some one just grabbed it and didn't look at it properly).
But I do wonder, if there would actually be a fitting bird species from Madagascar for a nocturnal exhibit. Unfortunately, so far I didn't find any species which may be both suitable (nocturnal and possibly ground-dwelling) and available.

If I remember correctly the Somali wild asses were in the masterplan in a shared enclosure alongside the mhorr gazelles and addaxes, where the gerenuks and two species as mentioned earlier are now housed. No idea about the takins and buffaloes though.

A single male addax has been held with them for a reasonably long time at this point without any trouble, granted that is a male addax with a rather nasty set of horns. The gazelles might be a different story but the asses don't seem to be as antagonistic as I'd have thought
 
I don't remember, if they are actually going/ supposed to share an enclosure or just the area (i.e. desert zone).

As for the takins, they may find a spot in the Himalaya area. There are parts which are not in strong use and even behind the scenes.

But I am also a bit uncertain about the buffalos. I don't know, if they could perhaps even add them to the large Savannah. It's a rather huge complex after all. But I don't know, if they would get along well with the other species.

Definitely a risky enough species in a mixed species exhibit. Is there room enough for a substantial holding/housing area for them there? As far as I’m aware they require almost rhino like levels of a housing setup.
 
In the 2015 master plan, Somali wild ass are/were scheduled with red-necked ostrich and Barbary sheep. Mohr gazelles are/were supposed to share an enclosure with adax.

Cape buffalo were indeed scheduled for the large savanna area (with Grèvy zebra, giraffes, etc.)

Keep in mind that this master plan is now 10 years old and it has certainly been amended since then.

If you draw a line from the Gull aviary over the small carnivores and penguins to the vulture aviary: to the right of that axis, there is still a lot of space available, it is currently undeveloped and (the upper) part of which is inscribed in the master plan as Southern Africa. However, only brown hyena, Hartmann mountain zebra (with reed buck) and honey badger are described for that area.
