You also have red-ruffed, collared, red-bellied lemurs, aye-ayes, and white-faced saki in the monkey house, black-and-white and belted ruffed lemurs as well as mongoose lemurs in "Vari-Wald", Francois langurs in the Himalayas zone, and ring-tailed lemurs and white-handed gibbons in their own islands. I'm not sure if I'm leaving any species out.is this all the primates at tierpark. i saw somewhere saying the had around 20 priamte species
Yes, those are the Barbary macaques @Ned already mentioned on their post.Aren’t there also macaques/baboons (can’t remember which) in the “temple” style exhibit near the gerenuks/okapi?

Where’s this information? I can’t see anything bar the recent post regarding Caribbean flamingos hatching.Tierpark Berlin have announced that they started working on the two aviaries for Flamingos and Pelicans in their group on Instagram.
It’s in the new private group chat that you can join if you follow them on instagram.Where’s this information? I can’t see anything bar the recent post regarding Caribbean flamingos hatching.

Surely they have to give up honey badgers or move them elsewhere in the park at some point?Quite spectacular news on the elephant building:
They have swapped some of their plans: No more honey badgers and no longer any mention of any reptiles or weaver birds.
On the other hand, they now plan with Yellow-Spotted Rock Hyraxes, Gundis (both already planned) Black and Rufous Sengi, Meerkats, Helogales, Aardvarks and Naked Mole-Rats (all new). Also, they now just mention a bird aviary, while the picture portrays Von der Decken Hornbills.

They also posted a video of the building site.
By the way: They plan to start putting animals (e.g. elephants) in there by 2026. Let's hope this is their final schedule now and they'll manage to open no later than Spring 2027...
Someone on Instagram has asked a question about the plans for the Honey Badgers, it seemed that it won't be done yet due to high costs, but they also didn't completely say that it won't happen in the future.Surely they have to give up honey badgers or move them elsewhere in the park at some point?
Hello,
My visit to Tierpark Berlin is approaching, and I would like some additional information to make the most of my visit.
I'm visiting Tierpark Berlin for two days, for the first time.
I would like to know if there are special times to best observe the honey badgers, tamanduas, and giant white and red flying squirrels.
Is the bird show interesting and worth seeing?
I would appreciate any further information.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
