For the first time in its history 2 Crested screamers hatched at Tierpark Gotha on July 4th .

Recently a new species arrived at the zoo, namely Eurasian harvest mice (Micromys minutus).

At the start of November two male European bisons (Bison bonasus) were send to Wildpark Leipzig. I am not 100% sure whether they were the last European Bisons in Gotha.
