Good breeding-results at Lange Erlen :
24 European storks
16 European scop owls
1 male Mesopotanian fallow deer ( Lange Erlen is the only zoo in Switserland with this species ).
As a new species a pair of European cranes was recieved from Zoo Zürich.

Just heared that among the Eurasian scops owls bred this year also an albino was hatched .

At the end of November 2-year old female Northern lynx (Lynx lynx lynx) Lea arrived from Wildpark Assling to accompany the already present male.

In June the zoo received a 1-year old female European eagle-owl (Bubo bubo bubo) from a private keeper, the zoo now has a pair of European eagle-owls.
