A long shot I know. But does anyone have a list of how many tigers there are currently at each zoo and safari parks in the UK. Some places like Banham howlets thrigby Linton. Seam to be down to one tiger and its very sad.. I'm trying to make a list. Any help would b great.cheers

If you take a look in the Europe general forum you will find threads with up to date tiger lists such as this one (there’s one for the major sub species) and you can also look at zootierliste if that helps.

Banham currently has three tigers.

It is worth looking up how tigers like to live and some of the challenges of keeping them in captivity (lots of information on this forum and people more knowledgeable than me can speak to that) as it is not necessarily ‘sad’ for tigers to be kept on their own though it is a shame when zoos lose tigers of course.

Hi! This is the information i have about the Sumatran Tigers at Twycross. Im not 100% sure on how correct my information is on the parents. upload_2024-4-10_16-36-31.png

Blackpool Zoo has 1:1 Amur Tigers.
Knowsley Safari has 0:2 Amur Tigers.
Edinburgh Zoo has 1:1 Sumatran Tigers.

That's just off the top of my head

Sandwich has 1-1 hybrids who be moving to wingham
Bcs have 1-1 amur 0.2 Sumatran 1 white

On 1st April on my visit then, Lincs had four non specific tigers (two males, Bassera and Skah, two females, Dehra and Sajhiba).
 
Hi, can anyone help with info on an Amur Tiger Kliffs lately of besancon zoo France, born at Riga Zoo in 2011. He had cubs but struggling to find out who with, when, names and what has happened to them
