I think it's a kind of my duty to give information about Japanese zoos because I'm Japanese, but I've been very busy and hardly visited here........sorry.
Checked at the website of Tobe Zoo and found the email address as:

info@tobezoo.com (naturally........)

Hope the above could help.......might be too late though.

Tobe zoo has reached an agreement with Taman Safari in Indonesia to bring a female Orangutan to Japan for breeding purposes.

Female 'Jennifer' should arrive before the end of the year. Taman Safari would receive red pandas and penguins in return.

オランウータン 繁殖へ協定

Is there information on which zoo Jennifer comes from? Or where the Pandas and Penguins will be received?

The Taman Safari Group has a few parks with 3 main notable ones, so any specificity is appreciated

They didn't specify those informations. It only says it's a 14-year-old female.

By the way this is not just an agreement between Tobe zoo and the Taman Safari group, but also between the Ehime prefecture (where Tobe zoo is located) and the Indonesian government. My guess is that Indonesia doesn't normally allow the transfert of its orangutans abroad?
