Toledo Zoo Toledo Zoo and Aquarium News 2016

I apologize if I am repeating someone but I went to the zoo today and noticed, one, the aquarium is closed until the 13th, and two, that a bear symbol appeared on the Tembo Trail map, I was doing research and apparently Grizzly Bears are replacing the white lions. The Yaks that are supposed to go into the Valley exhibit (former cheetah habitat) are also in the Tembo Trail where the camels usually are. Right now the Valley contains reindeer.

No less than 6 Saddle-billed Storks were hatched during January/February.

A young female Masai giraffe named "Asha" left the Santa Barbara Zoo today and is en route to Toledo.
