This thread inspired by Top 10 Movies of All Time thread and a discussion on Discord. The songs could be from an opera, a musical or anywhere, could be classical, jazz, pop, rock, metal etc.
My top 10, not in particular order:
Depeche Mode: But Not Tonight - not well-known, but a very good song
Depeche Mode: Home - beautiful ballad
Depeche Mode: Blasphemous Rumours - incredible with very true lyrics
Depeche Mode: Useless - either depressive and powerful, I don't know how
Depeche Mode: Question Of Time - SOOO dynamic
Guns 'N Roses: Estranged -long, but exciting
Guns 'N Roses: This I Love - not very well-known, but beautiful and catchy
Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody - just because it's a part of the music's history
Roger Taylor: Strange Frontier - very powerful song
K'NAAN: Wawin' Flag - World Cup 2010's unofficial song, @amur leopard recommended recently, became one of my favourites
