yes. Ive seen BFF at Smithsonian National Zoo, Elmwood Park Zoo & ZooAmerica in Hershey,pa. Im sure more zoos have them throughout the U.S but it is nice to see such a rare species being helped.
Emma, a 7 year old black leopard, will be leaving Topeka to make room for the Sumatran Tiger breeding program.

Topeka, a city with a population of only around 130,000, has a small zoo that will have about 215,000 visitors this year. The new travelling exhibit, replacing last summer's puny penguin tank, features alligators.

"Alligator Frenzy...A Bayou Adventure" is the latest summer rental at the zoo. It will feature 40 juvenile American Alligators and one albino specimen, along with a small assortment of other critters.

Topeka Zoo Says Elephant Updates Progressing
The zoo has released an excellent update on what enrichment activities it now provides for its elephants, and the link above is extremely informative. I am personally shocked that the zoo is making an effort to continue to exhibit only 2 elephants in such a tiny enclosure, but kudos for the terrific attempt to improve the lives of the inhabitants.

The zoo has recently recieved a male giraffe, Sergeant Peppers, from Oaklahoma City Zoo. He will be bred with Hope.
