Is it just me, or are they starting to sound . . . PeTAish in regards to zoos/Toronto Zoo? It's no better for a coyote to be in a zoo than to be shot? "Isn’t it just as bad for a wild animal to be locked up in a zoo as to be shot?" :eek: If the zoo gets any of the coyotes, like the rest of their collection, they'll be getting top notch veterinary care and a specially prepared diet. Truly awful, isn't it? :rolleyes:

I have always found the keepers at our zoo take better care of their animals than many pet owners do! And wasn't Rowdy from the THS, after being taken out from a basement?

Don't get me wrong they have done good work but . . . Argh. I had to vent.

Meaghan, in Australia they've always been PETAish.

The HSI caused Taronga huge problems with the elephant import by capitalising on that zoo's naivete.
 
That sucks :( I hate seeing people being taken advantage of like that.

I'm seriously considering writing a letter to the THS about misinformation about the Toronto Zoo.
