Fingers crossed for Asha- a surviving calf would be HUGE!

Kiko has participated in the blood draw. Just saw a post on facebook. They are now awaiting the results. He will go on display once the results are back and clear and keepers and he are comfortable with him going on display.
Please, would it be ok for me to share this picture with my special FB group which follows Kiko? Thanks ! Looks like they're getting along well!
That neck roll is quite familiar Kiko behavior. When giraffe do that, they're doing infra-sound. He's talking to the girls. I am so excited!![]()
Of course...Go for it!
I'm heading back this afternoon. I'll be bringing some kids this time, so whether or not we'll make it to the giraffes (and how long we'll stay at the exhibit) is hit-or-miss...but hopefully we'll stop in to see how the new giraffe family is doing on Day 2!
PS - Thanks for the explanation of the neck roll. Now it makes more sense!
