@hyena142 I figured out why wildebeest Chuck wasnt listed. I went back and did research and he passed in late 2022 not 2023. I didnt learn he died until 2023 which is why he wasnt in last years group of deceased zoo animals. That one bothered me. I am not bothered the same way by the death of watusi Milhouse. I block out anything watusi because I just dont want them around.

Overall Good year with some pros and cons only arrival missed was Tika the cheetah but idk if she counts lol.

Hopefully the Southern Tamandua can be displayed in America Pavilion since the Kid's Zoo is not opened for entire year. I would say this Tamandua might be my only motivation to visit the Zoo in 2024, if it is on display to the public.

@Smaggledagle The armadillos are going to be outreach species which essentially means ambassadors. It's confirmed they're going to be somewhere in the Discovery Zone, likely the Kids Zoo, when it reopens next year and until then keepers will be taking them on tours of the zoo so they can interact with guests. The tamandua hasn't been formally announced yet (the only reason we know about it is the CEO posted a picture of it on his instagram story) so we're less sure about where it's gonna go right now but I'm assuming it's gonna be the same thing.
