Last time I was there I didn't see it. That was April 3rd.

Ya, the Coyote Jacks in Americas restaurant was opened and closed off and on weirdly for a bit. I was there on roughly March 20th and it was open.

Did it take place of Harvey's or the old Subway/On the Go area?

I'm not sure. But I think the harveys. Because there is also this like health food/sandwich/salad station (name escapes me) where the On the Go used to be.

I would also like to add that Drum Cafe is coming back this May! The Zoomobile is opening on May 1st as well.

I have to say, seeing a porcupine trying to scratch an itch with its hand makes you appreciate how easy we have it.

Thats interesting. I noticed that they have a Malayan Tapir(s), it would be nice to see our current Tapir to gain a mate, maybe its just a pipe dream lol.

Also, I can't remeber where, but I heard toronto zoo was thinking about brining in Takin for Eurasia when its complete (i was reminded because Mountain View has some). Is this true?

There have been talks about acquiring them but I really don't think that the zoo will be bringing any larger animals in to be put into place in Eurasia.

Yea it will most likely be. Possibly smaller than half the size it is now.

I think the pathway is going to be shorter, something I felt was really needed because a lot of people avoid that area for that reason.

I gotta agree with that, the layout for that area isn't really the best. There is a lot of open spaces between the exhibits, and often only exhibits on one side of the path which really stretches out the area quite a bit. I could easily see them get the same animals in half the area if they planned it out a little better and used the space properly.

Has there been much said on what there plans are involving the eurasia area? Is there any chance well see a new pavilion out of it?
