[Ungulate]

Ungulate, I was wondering if you know what happened at the zoo yesterday by the yak exhibit? There was also a Reindeer and its baby there? The Security and Safety were there as well?

Countdown: 1 day until Keeper for a Day!!!!!

I don't remember hearing anything special yesterday - sorry. The reindeer are living at the yak house now; mom is "Tinsel", the last of the zoo's outreach reindeer. The calf (plus one of the others in Eurasia) are going to be raised for public interaction.

Ohh,so thats why.But wouldn't the yak bother the reindeer?

I believe that they are in separate enclosures ... although in the past we have had yaks and reindeer living together in that exhibit.
