Touran cheetah breeding center

I've been trying to keep track of this government-operated facility dedicated to the ex situ reproduction of the Asiatic cheetah.

Sources I found from an Iranian news site say there are currently six cheetahs at the facility: male 'Firouz' and females 'Delbar', 'Iran', 'Azar', 'Touran' and 'Abrisham'. All are wild caught. There used to be another male, 'Koshki', who died of old age in 2022.

Azar and Touran (siblings rescued in 2022) and Abrisham (rescued in 2024) are too young to breed. Iran probably can no longer have cubs after some complications with her first litter, and Delbar is too old. Firouz has low fertility.

In 2022 three cubs were born between Firouz and Iran, but the only surviving one (male 'Pirouz') died 10 months later. At the time of his death he had become quite popular in Iran.

Any advice or tips on how to get a better access to Iranian news sites would be greatly appreciated, as I am completely new to this.
