I'm surprised nobody's posted this yet :D

In absurd animal news, a retired man in Argentina has discovered that his toy poodle pets are actually two large ferrets pumped with steroids.

The man paid just NZD$90 for the two ferrets, when the going rate for two toy poodle pups in Argentina would have been closer to NZD$1,200.

He only found out that the beady-eyed ‘puppies’ were in fact large ferrets pumped with steroids when he took them to his local vet.

This isn’t the first time a person has been duped by drugged-up ferrets in Argentina either; a woman says she suffered from the same scam when buying a Chihuahua at the same market.

1) it is still a scam: the ferrets were passed off as toy poodles. The price is irrelevant. Although in this case I could make a good guess that they were sold at a considerably higher price than a pair of ferrets would have been.

2) I don't understand the cleusk reference. Are you insulting him, or insulting me, or insulting both of us? :confused:

3) Also, not sure why it should be in the Nonsense thread, unless you think everything should be in one thread. That would be a little inconvenient.

How on earth do you know there were 14 members online since you posted the thread? :confused:

Oh, cleusk posted a couple threads lower down the forum with some weird videos that I don't think got any replies. :D Soon you will start deleting every second post you make too. :p

it was a guesstimate. I've been on and off the site for the last several hours and there's only been between about 11 and 18 members online at any given point. I started the thread four hours ago, you replied with your "token post" two hours ago, and you made your reply post ten minutes ago, at which point there had been twenty-six views of the thread, at least four of which were nanoboy and Chlidonias. Fourteen seemed like an acceptable number.

Chlidonias just doesn't want to lose his title as the one with the most threads on the site- even though he's winning by a landslide!

By the way, you two make such a great couple;)
