On November 27th, it was reported that Salt Lake County announced plans for a new park on the Jordan River, and is in partnership with the Tracy Aviary to build a new nature center. The facility opened in 2020.

On May 9th, 2019, it was reported that they opened a new exhibit called Eagle Ridge, which is home to (

0.1) common raven named Cash that was found a month later at the attorney general's office in July 2019, as well as two separate incidents revolving around a (
0.1) red-tailed black cockatoo named Matilda, which escaped and recaptured in January 2020 and in March 2021 respectively.
