Tree Kanagroo

Hi,
I wonder if the good people of this forum can help me. I am a mature student doing an animal management course, as part of that course I have to give a presentation on the captive breeding of an animal. I am focusing on Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo, mainly because I think tree kangaroos are fascinating animals and everyone should know about them. My particular question is how many are held in captivity? the Currumbin website give the following.... '34 Goodfellow's Tree-kangaroos found in captivity outside of PNG, 13 in North America, 13 in Europe and 14 in Australia' this does not add up as the total should be 40. I am trying to get an accurate a picture as possible so any help would be greatly appreciated. Any other information about captive breeding of tree kangaroos would also be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Rob

Rob there are a number of threads on the forum that may be of some help to you, try a search for Tree kangaroo, there are a few of them,

Also have you looked at the ISIS website of animal records in zoos?
