That list feels longer than the number of species they have :D Looks like they're going to Lions, Tigers, & Bears, or Carolina Tiger Rescue. I really doubt Oakland or Detroit want to take on elderly animals of a species they don't already display, especially Oakland with the number of large carnivore rescues they've been dealing with.
 
Per Instagram, the bears are both 32 years old, and are going to Lions Tigers & Bears.

Lions Tigers & Bears on Instagram: "The rescue team has safely loaded the animals and are headed back across the country with our precious cargo in tow! First stop — Texas — to drop off the emus, coatis, geese, and Snorkel the pot-bellied pig. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to Susie & Sallie, the two Himalayan black bears that will soon be calling Lions Tigers & Bears their forever home. These ladies actually turned 32 this week! They were born October 12, 1990. What a special birthday gift to be rescued and finally get the care they deserve!!! Susie and Sallie are very overweight and they also are missing most of their teeth - this is due to a very poor diet and lack of veterinary care over their lifetime. Our veterinary team will be examining them to get a better idea of their health implications once they’re safely back at our sanctuary. In the meantime please help us wish Susie & Sallie a Happy Birthday & Rescue Day and safe travels on their journey home! You can also honor them by donating to help us cover the costs of their rescue and lifetime care. Thank you SO much!"
 
I'm interested in seeing what animals go to the two AZA institutions. Hopefully it's stuff that will be beneficial to breeding programs.

Tri state didn't have anything that's beneficial. Most, if not all, of their animals are well past breeding age, and they're all very common species.

Oh wow! I was hoping that they would go to Detroit Zoo since Asian black bear is the only bear I've never seen and I plan to go to Detroit soon. I've never heard of Lions Tigers & Bears... seems like a good facility.

Thank you very much for the information, I definitely would have missed it otherwise. It's good we know their ages now and it's terrible to hear the level of mistreatment they underwent. I am glad to hear they are going to a sanctuary and a good home.
