According to the Collections magazine, the dates are:

Thursday July 30 and Friday July 31, 2009
4:30pm to 7:30pm
No registration required.
 
I can't wait to finally get some good photos of the wolves, and the foxes would be nice as well. I hope the wolf bridge has a good view. I will definitely be there for the preview days, that's what I love about the membership there.
 
Regarding photos. I don't think the exhibits especially for the wolves and foxes will be photographer friendly because the exhibits are chain link fences and mesh. Hopefully the paths will be raised enough that we can still get some decent shots!
 
So who exactly is going on the member nights? I wanna see my compitition for photos lol!
 
WOW, I'm gonna lose! I'm good at photography, not that great though. I guess the camera makes a difference. I have a 35mm Canon EOS camera. 20X zoom. Well I'll try I know I can get some good photos. I am hoping to get into photography even more. Money is always the issue.

You have some amazing photos. Do you use photoshop?

We should hold a friendly competition here for the Members Preview Nights for best wolf photo, best polar bear photos and so on. It could be pretty fun.

As long as there is some good day light, I'm sure you will get fantastic photos with that camera. My old point and shoot camera (12x zoom) did really awesome as well, but needed good lighting conditions.
 
Yea I am still learning all about the camera functions. I know lighting makes all the difference! Oh and you are on for this compitition! best of luck cause you going down! I know i'm going to loose! Is it free to register on that website?

I think this could be a fun thing. We can create one thread here in the forum for it and post links to the photos posted in the gallery. And maybe we could have votes or something, I imagine this forum allows polls. The photos should only be from the two members only nights.

I'm actually really excited about these members only nights, I can't wait to see the new exhibits. I was at the zoo today, actually, and they had the whole jaguar section blocked off now. You can't even go down that pathway near the jaguars.
 
They are probably doing intense work on the reindeer exhibit now. We should do that create a new fourm right before the preview nights, create a poll on it and then get people to vote! They should be for just the two preview nights!
 
Yeah, this competition sounds like a good idea and something fun to do.

I really wanted to see the jaguars today, so I was pretty disappointed when I saw that it was blocked off. I guess it will be blocked off for a while then if they are working on the reindeer exhibit. I still can't believe how big the sable antelope baby was, I was expecting much smaller.
 
I don't get why people think that hill is so steep! To be honest its not that bad, maybe its because im still young :p!
 
That hill isn't so bad on the way down, but coming back up on a hot summer's day... it just never seems to end.
 
Just to let people know I put a few of my pictures in the Toronto Zoo Gallery. A few of the pictures are a bit blurry.
