Twenty questions

isn't it (Q2) since it wasn't a steller's sea cow?

thanks for clarifyin' BZF's animal is from Africa.

No (Q1)

~Gulo gulo:cool:

Thanks for reminding me! I'll go change it.

Is your animal Extinct?

Also, BZF's animal isn't native to the Congo. I also asked him if it was a carnivore and he said no.

~Thylo:cool:

no problem. yw.

no(Q2)

thanks for even further clarifyin' BZF's animal, Thylacine.

What is a Thylo? Why not just do Thylacine? what is your real name? Would make things easier. Thylo reminds me large calves, like a dwarf.

Is your animal from Europe?

-Ty

Ijbnbsn was the one who called me Thylo first. It was on http://www.zoochat.com/2/tigers-lions-leopards-oh-my-big-295148/ a while back (I think page 6). It's short for Thylacine as my name is ThylacineAlive. Being a teenager I don't think my parents would want me to reveal my real name but I'll just say that, it too, begins with 'Ty'.

Nope(Q3)

~Thylo:cool:

Gotcha. Forgot you had mentioned you were a child, sorry.

is your animal from North America?

No(Q4)

Ok, since it's Extinct and might not be too known I'll tell you it's from South America to allow you guys to actually get to species guessing. I won't reveal any more, though. My only hint is that it lived in a time where we know little of what lived in South America and after a big event in prehistory.

Don't get me wrong, I trust you Gulo gulo. I trust all of you and feel no danger in revealing my name but you just always have to be careful and safe on the internet.

seriously, never trust anyone on the internet. We are mostly just a bunch of pseudonyms. Trusting everyone just because they are on the same forum is not safe (most especially when one is a child or teenager).

Well I don't trust you like I'd go meet you alone in a park somewhere or I'd give out my adress and such. Don't worry I'm careful and I'm not going to do anything stupid.

I think gulo gulo wants to meet you. He has some cute puppies. You should go see them. :D

And Chlidonias, I often get emails from my African buddies with business propositions. I am willing to bring you in on the deals, but I will need your bank details to transfer the money. :)

Happy New Year

Has 'Twenty Questions' been abandoned? The current situation seems to be:

ThylacineAlive: This animal is an extinct animal from South America. It lived at a time we know little about, but is not a dinosaur. (Q4)

Pootle: This animal is a marine fish that may appear on European menus.

Chlidonias: This animal may be a fish, but there was some confusion about whether a capybara is a fish. It isn’t.

BeardsleyZooFan: This animal comes from Africa, but not the Congo. It is a herbivore, is not a primate and is not rare or extinct. (Q8)

Gulo gulo: This animal is not a mammal (Q2)

Nanoboy: This mammal lives in South America, but is not a marsupial. (Q3)

Dassie Rat: I have a new animal.

This one is pretty good. A bit long winded, but the spelling and grammar are more or less perfect.

Does anyone remember when these chain letters really were letters printed on paper? One of my friends in school insisted that the guy in the letter he brought to class was actually an old university buddy of his dad. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to help the guy bring the money out of Nigeria, and the best solution we came up with was to enlist the help of a diplomat, as diplomatic bags are not searched. If only some 15 year olds had a buddy who was a diplomat.....
