My friend in Uganda this week announced to me he is planning to open a zoo in the town of Jinja - on the Nile River. He has sent me his proposal (which has already been approved by the local council and a 15 year lease signed) and wants to know what I think and if I have any ideas for him?
Does anyone have any contacts in Uganda, Kenya or Tanzania that may help? He is getting the majority of the start-up animals from the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.
Any advice at all would be much appreciated.

Oh dear oh dear...... this is starting to sound like a tailored version of the Nigerian general who needs my help to get some money out of Africa. :p
 
He is still trying to get another 15 year option on the lease. But unfortunately this is Africa. And Nanoboy this is real.
