Uk help to find

Why would I, exactly? That’s a public site anyone can visit.

Not sure exactly what you mean but the continuous and frantic searching up of every detail on Todd's collection by Zoochat is definitely compromising everyone's chances of getting to see the farm for themselves by means of an open day.

If anything I put an end to more speculation on this thread (which is also covered in the other thread “private collection in Cornwall”) about the collection and Shoebills with more quotes like “does he have x or y in his collection” “or Instagram says...” I can assure you I don’t frantically search out his collection, this link was something I’d noticed a week or so ago on zoo new digest, a site I regularly visit.

From what I see, there are now 6 collections keeping Yak, but only 5 you'd have a good chance at seeing them - West Midland Safari Park seems to keep them in an off-show area as of recent.
Another update - Apparently WMSP used to keep Yaks some time ago, but they moved to Highland Wildlife Park. Which brings the number down to 5 collections in the UK with Yak.

Yaks were kept at WMSP they were in the old paddock that runs up the hill behind the Lemur Walk through

WESTERN SPOTTED SKUNK - (Possibly) none in Europe. The Eastern Spotted Skunk resides at the "Arche Noah Zoo" in Germany, though the import shows definite ID points for both species of Eastern and Western Spotted Skunk. (credit: TeaLovingDave)
And now Kothen as well.

BOBCAT - Formerly dotted across a number of UK zoos, now is absent from UK public collections. 25 zoos in Europe now keep the species. That said, Bobcat are still held privately in the UK. (Credit: ThomasNotTom and TeaLovingDave)
Now held in three public collections.

MOOSE - Alces Alces is held at 5 collections in the UK, notably Longleat and Highland.
..But not Longleat anymore, as some time circa 2020, they went out of moose =S

GROUNDHOG - None in UK, last held in the 1980's by Chester Zoo. 3 zoos now hold the species across the Czech Republic and Germany.
I have heard rumours elsewhere on the thread about Woodchuck being common in UK private hands, but I am unsure as to whether this is true or not.

HARPY’S EAGLE - None in UK, 2 zoos in Germany hold this animal, Berlin and Nurnberg.
..And also Beauval now. And, if one counts overseas territories, depending on how picky they are on what they mean by 'Europe', then Macouria, of the French Guiana, does as well.

TAKAHE - None in Europe.
In quite an entertaining manner, although this is technically true, as there are no Takahe on the continent of Europe [and never have been as far as I can tell], Zootierliste now lists the Takahe in its inventory, as three zoos of New Zealand hold it under the EAZA. New Zealand, however, is in Oceania, and not contential Europe, but it is what it is :p

AYE - AYE - Held at 4 zoos in the UK, notably Chester and Bristol.
Seeing as now the Twilight World of Bristol has now shut down [with the collection as a whole to follow], there is zero chance of seeing the species at Bristol now. The possibility still exists that it may be held off-show, however..
MUSK OX - Highland.
The last individual died in 2021, meaning that the park has not had Musk Ox for some time at this point.. The species remains stable on the continent.

That said, with the Shoebill, there has been some interest whether Leopard + Goat Farm in Cornwall holds the species or not - Todd Dalton corrected an Instagram post noting that there was 3 collections with the species in Europe, with the correction being there was actually 4. Whether this implies that the Shoebill may be held in the UK after all is much up for debate, but I think more evidence is necessary to fully state whether the species is kept in the UK or not.
Zoo Jobs: ANIMAL KEEPER

Shoebills are on the list
In any case; it has come to my attention that a public collection in the UK now indeed does hold Shoebill - Exmoor !
