UK primate collections

Hi everyone I'm not sure if this has been done already but I thought it would be nice to have a thread with every uk zoo's primate collection and if it works out do the same for other groups! :)

e.g.


BELFAST ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS

Great apes - western lowland gorilla, chimpanzee
Lesser apes - moloch gibbon

Guenons- 0
Baboons/macaques - lion-tailed macaque
Colobines/langurs- Francois, Javan brown, colobus

Cebids- columbian black spider, red-backed bearded saki, red titi

Callitricids- golden lion, black lion, cotton-topped, pied, emperor tamarins, geoffroy's and white-bellied Pygmy marmosets; goeldi's monkey

Lemurs- crowned sifaka, red ruffed, black and White, White-belted ruffed lemurs, ring-tailed, crowned and red- bellied

Nocturnal promisians- 0

Guenons/mangabey- White-napped mangabey

Callitricids- golden lion tamarin, White-bellied pygmy marmoset, goeldi's monkey

Lemurs- red ruffed, ring-tailed

Nocturnal prosimians-0

Chester has 3/4 species of Lemur.

Guenons- Diana, hamlyn's owl faced, l'hoest's
Baboons/macaques- guinea baboon, gelada, drill, Barbary macaque
Colobines/langurs- purple-faced langur

Cebids- black howler, White-faced saki, red titi, olive capped squirrel monkey, brown capuchin, yellow-breasted capuchin

Callitricids- golden-headed tamarin,Cotton-topped tamarin, goeldi's monkey White-bellied Pygmy marmoset

Lemurs- ring-tailed, mongoose, sclater's blue-eyed black, red-bellied, red-fronted, aloatran gentle??

Nocturnal prosimians- Senegal bushbaby

Yup, Chester has Ring-tailed, Red Ruffed, Black-and-white Ruffed and Alaotran Gentle Lemurs.

Just as a point of pedantry - there are two species of squirrel monkey in British zoos so we ought to be specifying Common (Olive-capped - Saimiri sciureus) or Bolivian (Black-capped - Saimiri boliviensis). ;)

Ah yes, forgot the Lemurs (rather shamefully considering they're a favourite of mine aswell). Thanks Maguari and Paix :D

Silly of me to forget the Oragutans as I always make a point of going there early to see them and the Gibbon just above them
