Winchester Cathedral have announced that one peregrine egg has been laid not by the original hen but by a new hen.The original hen ,they think, has actually been killed by the new hen.

There was a breeding pair at the top of Birmingham University clock tower, couldn't be certain if there is a pair these days.There is definitely a pair currently at Worcester Cathedral

Four chicks hatched at Leicester Cathedral, unfortunately the last to hatch didn't survive and was eaten by one of the adults

Looks like there won't be a successful year at Winchester Cathedral. New female Mel (who it is assumed killed the previous long-term resident female Winnie earlier this year, before mating with the resident male William), scattered her eggs earlier in the week; they were placed back in the nest but Mel has now eaten them. Presumably they were non-viable. It is unlikely that she will lay again this season

BBC news states that a laser was aimed into a Peregrines nest box on St Peter and St Paul's Church in Cromer resulting in the hen leaving for a long period. The hen eventually returned to the chick.The chick ,fortunately has not been harmed.
