Hi folks. We all should know that a lot of UK wildlife collections host the more popular animals found in the South American biomes of the Pantanal and Los LLanos wetlands/grasslands,the dry Gran Chaco thorn scrub & the Cerrados grasslands. Jaguars,Capybara,Burrowing Owls,Giant Anteaters,Anacondas,Caimans....but what is

the best enclosures of these and other animals?
the best experiences you've had?
what zoo holds lesser reported, rare and unusual animals,ie like Tuco-Tuco,Chaco Owls etc?
the zoos with the widest range of species from these habitats?
any zoos with mixed species habitats?
and, being a bird fan,the zoo's with the best avian collections?
...and other sundry things to do with these habitat specific species?

Amazon World, Isle of Wight, used to have a wide collection - not sure now?

So, Capybara,Lowland Tapir,Six-banded Armadillo,Red-footed Tortoise,Greenwinged and Hyacinth Macaws,Red-legged Seriema, and the Burrowing Owl,are very well represented. Jaguars,Giant Ant-eaters,Green and Yellow Anacondas,Southern Tamandua's,and Maned Wolf, are represented at several collections. Even the Chaco Owl.

Has there been any holders for Marsh Deer,Pampas Deer,Pantanal Cats,Snail Kites etc,as i assume none are in the UK yet?
