Unusual thylacine photo.

I regularly search around for pictures of the thylacine, and while trying to locate the hide nailed to a tree photo I came across this

I've never seen it before, it came up on the images section for the search term 'Tasmanian wolf pictures' so I assume, as I've searched using this phrase before, that it's newly published.

I think it's one of my very favourite.
 
I certainly did. I'll post it up on my photobucket account when it stops acting up.
 
Mullins family group - new photo discovered

This was mentioned in a comment against "unusual thylacine photo" which was about a different photo.

The newly discovered photo (this week) shows the Mullins family of thylacines in their travel cage. They were captured in June 1923 - the mother was trapped. Walter Mullins amputated her front foot then nursed her to health. She had 3 pouch young. He spoke with Hobart Zoo which made an offer to purchase but he declined the amount as too small. At this point he travelled with the tigers, exhibiting them. They were shipped across to Melbourne and exhibited there. They were shipped back to Tasmania and he had negotiations with the zoo at City Park, Launceston. However ultimately Hobart put in a higher offer and they were finally sold there.

As such, this new photo is quite early and shows very young, newly independent pouch young.
