Not a lot of news really. Pretty busy today again, they seem to be doing really well for visitors.

All the lions are now out - the last one, Johnny Junior, finally decided to come out, he's now spent the last 3 nights outside.

The 4 meerkat pups are going strong making a total of 9.

The two young lemurs - both male - a black & white ruffed and a ringtail are both out in the walkthrough. The ringtail is easy to see but the B&W disappears up trees.

There is work going on in the area that previosuly held the donkeys/cattle, not sure if it's related to the eventual addax move to the next enclosure.

Didn't venture up as far as the camels so I don't know about progress with the new guanaco enclosure.

They've moved to a field where there were horses until very recently - where the barrel train was last year.

A lechwe was born yesterday, it was at the far corner of the African Plains but was up feeding from its mother and had a visit from its father.

The ringtail lemur group has split and they are alternating being out in the walkthrough, half the group are looking for a new home.

Amusingly one of the anakole cows was using Basil the bull's horn to scratch her face, round her eye and then poke in her ear. He just sat there letting her.
