Dudley Zoological Gardens Update on Dudley Lions

Sorry to deviate from the thread but does anyone know what ever happened to the Snow Leopard cub that was born at Dudley about 4 or 5 years ago? Is the male at dudley the father of this cub because i'm pretty sure the mother died a few years ago.

I believe Evilkittie is right the father died about a year ago and the female is still the same thats why they could be having a bit of a stand off between the pair they have now

The female died first out of the two, the current female moved in around 18 months ago to go with the old male prior to his death. The current female came from a swedish zoo and male from a german zoo

After visiting earlier this week found out that the lionesses are still in the night enclosure as they are having a slight bit of trouble getting them in at night but they say they seem to be getting on top of this as they are getting a reaction from the pair now so with a bit of luck they should soon be in the outdoor enclosure with the male.
As I said on another thread the male giraffe as not arrived yet and due to paper work problems will not be arriving until in the new year.
The tapir and her baby are doing fine and I actually saw the father in the outdoor enclosure today first time for ages.
The Lars Gibbon and her baby were not out in the enclosure I think this had something to do with how cold it was looked in the indoor area and saw both, looks like they are doing really well.
Don't know if they're doing any work on the Tecton Buildings but one or two of them looked alot cleaner then the last time I saw them or it could be that the weather has done something to them like removed some of the shrubs growing around them.

Hi adrian1963,

Is Dudley switching from hybrids to Rothschildt's giraffe?
Which animals are already at Dudley?

Thanks!

K.B.

There are three female Rothchilds and one hybred they are waitimg for a Rothchild's Male. They intend to breed with the three Rothchild's but not the Hybred
