Statement of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Board of Directors On Social and Racial Justice, Inclusion and Equity | Roger Williams Park Zoo

I just received an email from Phoenix Zoo stating their outrage at the killing and their efforts to promote equality, which will include seeking to make their staff and board makeup more diverse in the future.

It is fantastic to see zoo’s respond in this way. I believe that the values zoo’s promote and pursue in the natural world are widely shared with the progressive political doctoring and their view of wider society. Good stuff.
