US Species listings?

I can post an updated Akron list, but it will be after all the updates this year are in place. The zoo has not discussed the Curious Creatures changes yet. I would also like to see a more detailed list for Pride of Africa and Wild Asia before I make a list. I know some species, but I do not believe everything as been revealed yet. I hope there are more species involved at least.

I’ll be going to Cincinnati and Columbus Zoo this month and Cleveland when the Asian Highlands opens. Akron, Toledo, Erie, Louisville, Indianapolis, And Pittsburgh are the other confirmed ones. I can provide species lists for any of these zoos if they are still needed. I’m gonna tag @natel12 he will be help with the Pittsburgh Zoo
I will be happy to do another updated species list but it is preferable and easier to do it in the middle of the year.

Hi,

Do you have an idea, when you Will Go online?
I‘m very excited and Looking forward to this Great Project!

There are no date set yet but looking towards the end of the year as there is so much work to undertake in this project.
That's a great idea if all could try and get a species list from there local collection that would help greatly.

Maybe with a beta Version Online and a System like Zootierliste, where users can edit the species list, your Project will grow faster and relieve a lot of work for you and your Team!

Beside that, respect to your ambitions!

I don’t think you should allow anyone to edit the lists I think there should be a small team that edits it when there is proof and a report.

Zootierliste does have it faults but that isn't down to the owner of the site it's down to the people who input the data and we have recognised this problem.

The site itself does help people get a general idea and what we also like is the species list for the past which could be another project one day or may just grow as species move from collection to collection.

Still looking for info on species held within collections any updates would be gratefully received many thanks in advance.

Just a quick update this project is much bigger than we thought but just too let everyone know we are still going on with it.
We would like people on here to update lists for their latest visit's as this will help us from keep trying to e-mail the collections which some are still to reply from our original e-mails.
Please be aware we will complete this but it will take quite a lot longer than first thought.
Many thanks to all who have helped so far when it is complete everyone who as helped will be mentioned on the front page of the web site.
Again many, many thanks
