I think that when someone has made a wildly untrue claim, and it is quite-rightly called out as such, the onus should be on the original claimant to back up the claim - and not the dissenters to prove it is untrue
Why not just explain how your scoring system works, and carry on with it?
True, there's been some confusing ratings and inadequate research here, but I don't think the idea behind your thread is bad. It is interesting to compare how different groups of animals are prioritized and managed in different "networks".
But I think this thread would work better as a regular discussion thread or even as a cup, given that it's understandably enough very hard for one single person to research all groups of animals in the zoos of both continents. Then we could see the forum's consensus of which continent does best with X, which continent has completely deprioritized Y, and so on.
