Hi guys I thought I’d make a thread for all thing venomous snakes: zoo news, captive breeding, ecology etc.
I would just like to ask first of all if anyone knows of any Azemiops floating around zoos or the private trade?

Azemiops obser was imported into the USA in the late 1980s for research at Washington State University though they likely aren't there anymore (unless breeding has been successful). There was a Zoo in Russia that had them 7 years ago but they might have passed. The last Zoo in the US was St. Louis Zoo in 2015. They get stressed in captivity and I haven't found anything about them in captivity currently

Azemiops kharini was definitely bred by a private keeper in 2021, although I don't know much more on the subject than that.

ZTL states the Goldie’s Tree Cobra (Pseudohaje goldii) was kept by London Zoo around 1946. Does anyone have any information on this species in captivity?

I believe this might be a mistake and be P. nigra rather than P. goldii. According to this source from 1999, “a specimen from Ghana kept for several years at London Zoo fed entirely on frogs and toads.” However, I could not find any evidence of P. goldii in captivity.
