19th July 2008, Enjoy a private viewing of Hillside Bird Oasis in Mobberley, Cheshire. See where the dream of Blackbrook first began as we re-open Hillside for the first time in 6 years. Hillside was first developed in 1973 and was open to the public until 2002. Situated in stunning gardens, Hillside is home to many exotic species including rare waterfowl, various geese and several species of flamingos. A buffet lunch will be served on the lawns of the main house.
Standard admission prices apply tickets need to be purchased in advance

i dont have a species list sorry but i know that there are no longer any pelican/penguins and i dont think there are any owl species tocoun or hornbills
 
I forgot all about it. Whenever I looked on the Blackbrook site I couldn't see any information about Hillside.

I went when it was a public collection. I'll post some pictures when I find them.
 
Yep i visited Hillside yesterday had a great time nice to see the place hasn`t changed that much apart from the fences have come down and most of the birds can go where they want,they have still got a few aviarys left about the place,the Lesser and Caribbean Flamingos were very nice to see runnning up and down the lawn.
 
WOW!

What happened to Blackbrook's guinea pigs?

There were about 30 in April, but on my last visit there were none.. (just the white rabbit!)
