Has anyone heard the status of putting the Viktor Schreckengost sculptures from the old pachyderm at the entrance to the zoo.
 
The Zoo still plans on doing this however there is no timetable for when.
It would have really been cool if they had been able to do the entrance right along with Elephant Crossing money was probably the issue.

All i know is that the sculptures will be at the front gate, and that they will have been re- painted. I'm really excited!
 
Yeah, I am too, However, the Mastodon may go up later than the mammoth, one of the heads cracked while being removed
