The tropical area across from the monkeys in World of Reptiles now has Crested and Green oropendolas. Hwameis, Robin-chats, and a small type of oriole are in quarantine and are planned to go on exhibit in a month. There are also plans for Grey-winged trumpeters.

  • This small type of oriole is actually a pair of Oriole warblers (the second one I'm not 100 percent sure is), no sign of other birds so far.
  • Saw a bit of the baby giraffe
  • When they were repairing the roof of the reptile building , they neglected to fix the area of the Grays monitor exhibit which suffered extensive water damage. The monitor is behind the scenes indefinitely.
  • The rhinoceros viper was off-exhibit
  • Coming soon sign on one of the frog enclosures
  • Saw duiker in exhibit next to Emus.
