Went to Marwell today great time had. the weather was warm but windy. got to see the valley for the first time with animals in it a few Grevys Zebra and a couple of Ostirch a shame but the Waterbuck where on the hardstanding. lots of babies around saw a couple of young Przewlakis horses and the Roan,Sable.Addax antelopes and Dorcas gazelles all had young. unfortunately i could not get to heart of africa to see the Bongo and Congo buffalos as it was blocked of for the giraffes to leave their house and get into the feild that the bongos used (is this so they can get to the valley only that feild has very low fences of which i dont think very good for giraffes) also only saw 3 of them.

it was nice to see the Snow Leopard up and about today last couple of times have not seen him/her. the Capybara babies where so cute to.

toke some pictures of the signs used for the valley animals will upload think there great signs be could for all the animals to have signs like these

The onlt giraffes going on the valley are the hybrids which explains why you saw so few. And the valley fencing is actually about the same height as what's used in the giraffe paddock.

Marwell is going to re-do all the signs in the park like the valley's to fit the rebranding. This process should be complete by Summer 2010.

Thanks for that MD.

it was the fence where the bongos used that i was talking about tho as the giraffes had acces to that feild yesterday and the fence is low around there. do you know if the 3 giraffe that i saw at the giraffe house are the pure bred or hybreds
