Chester Zoo Visit 2nd September

What did Raman the elephant calf die from?

Does anyone know the answer to the above? The zoo don't seem to have made any announcement yet. Was it the Elephant virus, as we feared, or something else?
 
Thats a shame about the Horses, though i suppose it makes sense what with the Deer, Wallabies and Emus also gone. Though im sure someone said around the time the Deer left that the Horses were staying....
 
That was me. A keeper told me the horses would be moved. Obviously things have changed. Still, if the horses go and an African antelope species arrives, I sharn't complain.

Not heard anything will try to do a bit of digging and see what comes up.
