Just out of curiosity why does the Amur cub have a far bigger enclosure than the male(Malchek)?

Anyway he has to be one of the biggest and most beautiful tigers I have ever seen. Majestic!

I have no idea why the cubs were given the bigger part of the enclosure. Doesn't seem to make much sense for the animals although it definitely benefits visitors (better for photos, glass viewing area).
 
Can anyone tell me how the wo orphaned elephant calves Juluka and Imby are doing? I guess Imby`s aunt Jama and his older sister Etana take care of him, but what about Juluka (Stavit`s last daughter)? It would be great if anyone has more information.
