Well, he claims to have a membership there and visit on a regular basis, so theoretically he won't need the pass

I do go to Thoiry often though, since my grandparents live in Paris and have a car.

That doesn't really make sense. If you thought you were regularly visiting Beauval not Thiory why would you then ask for advice about visiting Beauval?
I was just thinking about Beauval at the time, so I ended up writing 'Beauval' instead of 'Thoiry, which I do have a membership at and where I do go often.
Sorry for the confusion again.
