Vogelcommandos anniversary

Exactly 12 years on ZooChat today ! In the last few years I've been less active but this has everything to do with my work as animalkeeper which takes a lot of my time ! Evenso I try to keep on active on ZooChat because I like the site so much !
2024 was animal-wise again a superb year with many new animal-species which I hadn't under my care before and also some new breeding-results which were new to me.
On shows, in shops and in zoos saw some Lifers but also other intresting species I had already seen before but for several species many, many years ago.
Zoo-wise I did a little better then last year with 12 visits at 10 zoos of which 3 were completely new for me and 1 collection I had not visited for the last 35 years !
Met again only 1 ZooChatter but saw him several times at several shows and herp-fairs ( @Sicarius ).
Strange enough the number of posts dropped from 17.650 last year to 17.250 ( this post ) but don't ask me how this is possible (?).
Uploading photo's was also not very great with only 200 photo's ( from 34.000 to 34.200 ).
Evenso, working every day with lots of exotic and special animals made this year ( like last year ) a real highlight !
