The Watering Hole is situated on the old Kijamii Overlook. The area was previously a landscaped plateau overlooking East Africa Plains Exhibit. The Watering Hole features sandwiches, wraps, salads, deserts, snacks, and what appeared to be a full bar. It also had a Hostess desk at the entrance and a small sign that said wait here to be seated. During my visit it only appeared to be operating as a bar. Off Season, so it was to be expected.
I really loved this location which has great views of the adjacent field exhibit with what appeared to be a new watering hole being located in the ravine below. Great Facility in my opinion, now to figure out excatly whats going on with the food. Enjoy the tour!!!
