Walkthrough zoo or regular zoo?

Do you prefer a walkthrough zoo, like a indoor rainforest like burgersbush where most animals go free. But those who can be dangerous has a natural barriere. Or do you prefer a regular zoo where almost all animals is in their exhibits.

What do you prefer and why?
 
If walk through is done properly, its fun.
Then again a good exhibit is good too.

there are good and poor of both.

I don't think either of these things stands on its own well. Walkthrough enclosures can be great for large aviaries, kangaroos, and a multitude of other species. However, I'm not aware of any zoo that only has walkthrough enclosures. Personally, I feel that walkthrough enclosures can be a good addition whenever possible- such as kangaroo exhibits and aviaries- but don't think they should be viewed as the default for most species, as oftentimes even if it is "safe", walkthroughs can be stressful for the residents and pose a danger to animals when visitors fail to comply with zoo rules. With the exception of some aviaries, I believe all walkthrough exhibits should be supervised by zoo staff or volunteers at all times to ensure both visitor and animal safety.

This!! Totally agree!

But like i said in the post: animals that can pose a threat to humans would be in a enclosure that has a natural barrier. So it can look as natural as possible.

Because i feel zoos should be able to show animals in their most natural ways if possible.
