Edinburgh Zoo wallabies

Does anyone know if the zoo is getting any more swamp wallabies as there is just the one left after losing the other male. Hope the zoo does get giant pandas would be a real asset to the zoo and the conservation of the species.

Much as it would be nice for people in Britain to see pandas without leaving the UK to do so, I agree with redpanda. There are other species in the world in greater need of conservation than pandas.

Wish people would leave Edinburgh zoo alone it has a well respected reputation.

If that comment was aimed at me, my post was not meant to snipe at Edinburgh Zoo. In fact, it is one of my favourites in the UK and, in my opinion, Budongo is the country's best exhibit.

What I was sniping at was the idea that zoos pay a hefty fee to keep a crowd-puller and then market this as conservation.

Apologies if this was unclear.

Must apologise to all if i was a wee bit snappy the other night i have time to think and yes the last comment was rite about the panda idea would be to much rent to pay for them i would rather see orangutans or cheetahs join the collection again sorry
