There was a farm in Stoney Creek, Ontario that had domestic farm animals such as chickens, llamas and such and exotic hoofstock such as bison, elk, deer, etc. and I visited it as a little girl in the 80s. I *think* there was also a skunk as well. It was closed sometime in the early 90s following a divorce, I believe. I loved going there.
There was also a reptile zoo in Niagara Falls, I think that was called Reptile World. I remember softshell turtles, a nice tank with angelfish, etc. I was about seven when I last visited. I remember being very impressed by their collection that I believe included caimen. There were also some parrots. It's closed now; sometime around 1994.
I'm curious as if anyone else remembers these places
