Waterways Wildlife Park (Closed) Waterways wildlife park ......

From what I have heard of this lady, who has had this park for many years. I highly doubt that these Koalas were Malnurished or Dehydrated.

Why has the RSPCA removed a native species, which come under the control of National Parks?
I doubt any RSPCA officers have experience enough to gauge the quality of the Koalas in question.
I think this may be a personal vedetta with the RSPCA officer involved, especially as he was said to be very rude to volunteers.

Nancy and Colin have received a huge amount of support from local people and also from their local Council who have given them $5000 to help fight the RSPCA case.

The RSPCA are now starting to duck and weave saying that they were guided in their judgement by a keeper from Western Plains!

There could well be a vendetta element to this - and not only from the RSPCA.

They certainly knew when to strike - Nancy has just had two knee replacements and is not as mobile as usual just at the moment.

Interesting that the NSW DPI [the licensing authority] knew nothing of this raid until Nancy rang them and told them herself.

From my knowledge of the Smalls and their park I could not imagine that they would truly neglect any animal.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
